NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME:
      The overall objective of the national service scheme (n.s.s) is service to community while studying in an educational institution. It is sought to arouse the social conscience of students and provide them opportunity to work with people around the educational campus creatively, constructively and to apply to the education they received to concrete social gains. The motto of the N.S.S is "personality development through service". This expresses the essence of democratic living and upholds the need to appreciate the other person's points of view first and to show consideration to fellow human beings. It also underlines that the welfare of the individual is ultimately dependent on the welfare of the society as a whole. he aim of n.s.s is to demonstrate this motto in its day-to-day programmes. two n.s.s units function in the college, with a total strength of two hundred students and two officers.
